Himalaya Purifying neem Face Wash- Review & Photos

My skin type is usually normal but it has changes with the weather. In summers it remains normal but in monsoon it becomes a bit oily. I have to change my skincare routine according to its nature, so as a result the products also change.

Last summer when I visited Delhi, the weather was so hot there that I found some pimples popping out on my face. It was so irritating. So I bought Himalaya Purifying Neem Face Wash because it’s a herbal product and I always prefer herbal products for my skin. I used it twice a day and after four days only, my skin became clear from pimples and I found my skin clean and soft. After that unfortunately I couldn’t buy it again as I went on trying other face washes in which I found some good while some were not of my type. But now I have it again and I’m so happy to review one of my favorite face wash.

Hi ladies,
As you all know that I had shifted to a new website of mine. But unfortunately it has been hacked by someone and the problem is quite serious. The only thing is that i will need your full support especially from the new followers. Hope you guys don't mind these changes and plz support.
Thanks!!

Note- For the giveaway you will have to follow me here on the blog. Will be doing a post on the giveaway very soon for the new entries. Those who have already entered don't have to do anything. You've been counted.

Lotus herbals Safe Sun gel sunscreen-review and photos

Hi ladies,

The summers have started to settle themselves in many parts of India and now it’s time that we start using a lot of our sunscreens whenever we go out. Isn’t it?

Since the last 2-3 years I’ve stuck to only one sunscreen and that is from Lotus herbals. I’ve been using 3-in-1 matte look Sunblock but this time thought of trying out this Sunscreen gel with SPF 20.

Celebrity makeup 2- Katrina Kaif

See this picture. What do you feel? Don’t you appreciate her makeup artist? Makeup which brightens and beautifies your face and yet doesn’t show. Natural makeup can make amazing changes in our faces.

No doubt that Katrina Kaif is naturally beautiful but wrong makeup often destroys her beauty but right makeup grows her beauty like a bright moon.

In this picture Katrina has wore a white outfit and done a subtle and lovely makeup.

So if I try this makeup on my face what products will I use, take a look.

Face-

Moisturize my face with Shamoist first

Apply Revlon Color stay foundation on my face then a light touch of Revlon colorstay concealer wherever I need it. A light touch of Revlon mineral powder as well.

Eyes-

Chambor stick foundation to prime my eyes

I’ll take a light peach shade from my VOV palette, apply all over the lids and will spread it in the outer corner of my eyes, then take silvery white shade for the brow bone, apply and then blend them perfectly. I’ll apply a thin line of peach shade in the lower lash line. I’ll not apply eyeliner here, but wear a natural eye lashes from Revlon or ES brand. I’ll apply one coat of mascara from Revlon.

Cheeks-

I’ll apply light peach blush from Chambor blush duo and blend it.

Lips-

I’ll use peach Revlon lip liner for outlining my lips then fill it with a nude lip-gloss from Lakme.

So this was today’s Sunday celebrity makeup post…hope you liked it. Will be back a new celebrity post next week.

Good Girl-Bad girl FOTD and a challenge

Hi lovely ladies,

Just wanted to try out something new with my face. I thought about the images of a good girl & a bad girl (an inspiration from the Sleek good girl and Bad girl eye shadow palette) and try it out on my face. I chose baby pink shade for Good girl and black for Bad girl. Hey don’t think that pink shade is always worn by good girl and black by bad…it’s just an imagination :D

Oriflame beauty lip balm- Review and pics

Hi ladies,

Today’s post is just a short review on Oriflame Beauty lip balm.

Many of my friends are Oriflame representatives and like using it’s products. Similarly one of my friends once gave me this lip balm around 4-5 months back. Although I don’t suffer from dry lips problems much but still thought of trying this out.

What it claims-

Give your lips smooth, rich, glossy care which soothes and nourishes whenever you need it. Helps protect against the effects of the urban environment with Aloe and vitamins A & E.

My Experience-

I’ve been using Lotus and Himalaya lip balms and liked them very much. But after using this I must say that even this one has impressed me quite a lot. It totally lives up to its claim and is very moisturizing. Does not dry up my lips in winters.

Pros-

Very moisturizing and hydrating.

Love the packaging and i must say that it is even hygienic than the potted ones where you have to apply it with your finger.

Handy and can be carried anywhere.

Gives a nice sheen to my lips after applying.

It also smells good.

Decently priced- Rs 179 but you can get it on a discount many times especially in winters.

Cons-

Does not last too long usually 2-3 hours but as it is easy to apply it that’s no big problem.

Rating-4.25/5

Will I repurchase it-

Yeah, it’s very good for me during winters. :D

Will I recommend it-

Yes I would surely tell you guys to try it out if you have dry or patched lips problems.

So this was my experience with this lip balm. Have you tried this? Which other lip balms do you use?

Hope this review helps :D Have a great day!!

xoxo Rakhshanda

But that’s not true….I’m proud of the fact that I own a beautiful little garden and I love clicking pics there. Makeup For ever Rouge artist lipstick- review, Swatches & pics

Hi ladies

Today I’m reviewing about my first Make up for ever lipstick which I bought from Sephora.com. I received it yesterday only and now I’m very much in love with this lippie. So today this is just a quick review about this lipstick. Check it out!!

Rouge Artist Intense lipstick

What it is:

A highly pigmented, long-lasting lipstick that delivers rich color in one stroke.

What it does:

Formulated with 50% more pigment than the traditional lipstick, Rouge Artist Intense gives an immediate true-to-color result. A blend of three natural waxes, the creamy texture glides on effortlessly for a long-lasting hold. The extensive color and texture range provides unlimited creativity.

Rouge Artist Intense lipstick-

Shade-

This is a satin orange beige shade 24. Very different from the other nude and orange shades that I have. It is not an exact nude color but quite close to it.

Packaging-

The packaging is not as impressive as the quality and shade. In my opinion it should have been even better.

Price- $19

My experience-

When I ordered this lipstick, I was afraid about the exact color which I wanted, because I was not sure that the shade would be the same as I had seen in the shade card list but when it came and I opened it, I jumped with joy because the shade was exactly the same. :D ?I’m very happy to get the perfect shade that I have always wanted. Today I quickly wanted to show it to all my readers so this is just a quick and short review about this lipstick. Till now I’ve only tried it on my hand for the swatches but as soon as I do a look using it I’ll show it to all of you.

Some reasons to love this lipstick-

It’s very much pigmented. Only one swipe is enough to get the right color.

It gives a satin effect to my lips.

The texture is smooth and soft.

It’s quite moisturizing.

I’m really in love with the shade of this lipstick.

The shade is wearable for daily basis so I can use it often.

Staying power seems to be good.

Here are the swatches-

Some reasons why I don’t love this lipstick-

I don’t like the packaging as mentioned above also.

The price is not reasonable.

It’s not available in my city.

Overall this lipstick is great; especially the shade and the pigmentation.

Rating- 4.25/5

So what’s your opinion about this lipstick? Have you tried this lipstick or this shade? Would love to know ?
